Services
How does PEP work?
Unlike Job Services Australia providers, PEP will continue to assist clients for as long as they need. That means we not only help our clients find suitable employment but maintain our support after job placement. The PEP approach is flexible. We provide individually-tailored programs for our clients.
We believe that finding a job, maintaining regular employment and developing self confidence and skills are the priorities. If you, or someone you know, is experiencing difficulties obtaining or maintaining employment due to a mental health problem, PEP may well be able to help.
How can PEP help me?
In addition to résumé preparation and marketing clients to prospective employers, PEP will assist with identifiying and developing:
- Vocational skills
- Job applications
- Job interview skills
- Pre-employment training and education
- Advocacy with Centrelink and other government agencies or services
- Therapeutic support with private practitioners as required
Please feel free to contact PEP to learn more about the support we can provide. If you live in Northern Sydney or the Central Coast area, aged between 15 and 64 years, with experience of mental health problems affecting your performance or job opportunities, you might want to access our services.
There are no fees or charges, PEP is funded by the Commonwealth’s Employment Services Support Program.
